Installation and Implementation
Before starting the installation of the SQUID Pro Rogowski, ensure that you use a 5VDC – 2A power supply positioned at the head to power the device. It is important to maintain and separate the wiring of Low Voltage Safety Circuits (TBTS) from the circuits under dangerous voltage to ensure safety and proper system operation.
When wiring, make sure to observe the polarity of the power connector of the SQUID Pro Rogowski.
Connecting measurement coils to the SQUID Pro Rogowski is simplified thanks to a quick connector that can be screwed on by hand, eliminating the need for tools. Connect them to the 12 connectors on the top and bottom of the unit. Be sure not to exceed the maximum current specification for each measuring coil, to avoid any risk of damage or overheating.
To ensure safety when installing the coils, it is imperative to carry out this operation when the circuit is de-energized. Use only Ewattch SQUID-PRO-ROGO-BOUCLE-100MM measurement coils, specially designed for optimum compatibility with the SQUID Pro Rogowski.
The Squid Pro Rogowski‘s current measurement coilshave a specific installation direction, which must be respected. Coils must be installed so that the arrow points towards the energy consumer.
By following these recommendations for installation and operation, you can ensure safe and efficient operation of your SQUID Pro Rogowski electric sub-metering system.
2 wiring modes are possible with the SQUID Pro Rogowski :
- Three-phase mode for measuring 4 three-phase outputs.
Caution: When wiring, please follow the instructions in diagram 1. - Single-phase mode for measuring 12 single-phase outputs.
Caution: When wiring, please follow the instructions in diagram 2.
