Measures
The sensor can be used to perform various measurements. The wiring methods for each are shown below. Technical specifications are described at the bottom of the documentation.
Current measurement :
Current measurement is performed using 3 opening current clamps connected to the sensor by 2m cables.
These clamps must be opened and then clipped around each of the insulated cables of the phases to be measured. Please note that the maximum current and voltage of each phase must not exceed the limits specified in the technical specifications.
Analog measurement:
These 2 measurement channels can be used to measure analog values 4-20mA or 0-10V. Please note that polarity must be respected.
Digital measurement:
These 2 measurement channels can be used to measure digital voltage signals ranging from 12 to 24V DC or AC. Measurement is performed via the 2 cables identified DI 1 and DI 2, each of which requires one wire to be connected to the voltage to be measured and the other to ground. Polarity is not important.
These measurement inputs are used to measure the following information:
- Current signal state
- Signal ON time
- The number of times the signal has been ON
- The length of the last ON state
Temperature measurement:
These 2 temperature measurements are made by temperature probes connected to the product. These probes are compatible with thermowells with a minimum diameter of 10mm.
