Tyness configuration

In order to configure the Tyness, the Tyness Configurator Software must be used.

Using the Tyness configurator, the Modbus extension board should be configured as follows:

  • The Tyness must be configured as a Modbus slave
  • The Modbus baudrate, parity and stop bit must be configured identically to the configuration of the PLC
  • The Modbus address of the Tyness must be configured
  • The bus master to be selected is “Generecic master
  • In the periodicity section, the time between two uploads to the cloud in minutes can be configured
  • In the table size section, the length of the uploaded Modbus table must be configured
  • Click on the write button to enter the configuration in the Tyness
