Installation and Implementation
Prerequisites :
- 1x TYNESS-PERFORMANCE or TYNESS-PERFORMANCE-4G : intelligent sensor communicating via LoRa or 4G.
- Electrical equipment performing production cycles: injection molding machines, hydraulic presses, machine tools, compressors, etc.
- Slot available for mounting Tyness Performance.
- 50/60Hz 100-240VAC for the 5VDC power supply.
- Access to the power supply of the main equipment or consumer, to connect current clamps.
- Electrical signal 0 – 12V/24V changing state at the same time as the production cycle.
Installation
- Mount the Tyness, power supply and easy-link terminal block on a DIN rail. Connect the Tyness to the easy-link modules using the DIN cables.
- Depending on the position of the FIX-RAIL, the height of the tab must be adjusted to ensure accessibility.
- Remember to connect the supplied 5V power supply to the easy-link card.
- Connect and secure the antenna. In the case of a metal cabinet, place the antenna outside.
- Standard use : Connect the current clamps before clipping them onto cables to measure.
- Machine use : Connect the current clamps before clipping them onto the 3 phases of the main power supply or the most consuming device.
- Standard use : Connect your digital inputs, temperature inputs and analog inputs on easy-link wiring module.
- Machine use : Connect the digital production input to the 0-12/24V AC or DC output of the equipment or an external sensor. No polarization is required. If the electrical equipment does not have this type of signal. This signal can be generated by an additional external sensor, such as an inductive proximity switch (see illustration below).
Use cases
- Injection molding machine: Production signal is on top colorator
- Hydraulic press: Production signal on top dead center
- Machine tool: Production signal on door opening or light column
- Screw extruder: Number of screw turns
