This pre-wired enclosure is a complete, ready-to-use solution combining BMS, IoT gateway, 4G router, and electrical protections in a compact and robust cabinet, fully pre-configured by Ewattch.

Designed for immediate commissioning, this “all-in-one” enclosure installs quickly, with no complex wiring or prior configuration required. It ensures optimal connectivity and security from the moment it is powered on.

With its open architecture, multi-protocol compatibility, and native integration with EwattchCloud, it easily integrates into any type of infrastructure and ensures smooth, centralized management of connected equipment.

Network Configuration

Firewall

• Allow: gateway MAC or IP addresses to access outbound ports 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS), and 123 (NTP) to the server www.ewattchcloud.fr, and port 53 to the configured DNS servers.
• SynapseCore: allow MAC or IP addresses to access outbound ports 51820 and 51821 (TCP and UDP) to wg.vpn.ewattch.cloud.
• Whitelist: add www.ewattchcloud.fr and wg.vpn.ewattch.cloud to the firewall whitelist.
• RAK: if present on the network, allow MAC or IP addresses to communicate with Ewattch gateways via ports 1780 and 1782 (TCP and UDP).

Addressing

• WAN Port: By default, the WAN port is set to DHCP. Verify that the gateways correctly retrieve network parameters (gateway, DNS). If switching to a static IP, set the DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) if required.
• LAN Port: The SynapseCore LAN port has a fixed IP address of 192.168.25.1/24 and acts as a DHCP server.

DNS

• DNS Access: gateways must be able to access DNS (Domain Name Service), either via the gateway (DNS relay) or directly (example: 8.8.8.8 on port 53).
• Domain: gateways must be able to access the domain www.ewattchcloud.fr.

Proxy

• HTTP Proxy: if a proxy is used, it will not be configured automatically. Configuration must be performed directly on the gateways.
• Authentication: authenticated proxies are not supported.

Installation

Simply install your pre-configured enclosure supplied by Ewattch. Connect the enclosure and your equipment following the diagram below.

Configuration on Ewattch Cloud

SynapseCore does not require any prior configuration from the customer. It is automatically pre-configured by our team before shipment. You only need to connect your sensors using the Scan to Cloud feature, an intuitive solution that simplifies provisioning in just a few clicks.
