button.<\/p>\n<p>If you choose \u201c4G\u201d or \u201c4G+LoRa\u00ae\u201d modes, you must indicates the settings of your carrier&#8217;s network and your SIM card<br \/>\n&#8211; PIN code: \u201c0000\u201d by default<br \/>\n&#8211; APN : which is the name of the network acmes point, here \u201corange.fr\u201d<br \/>\n&#8211; User \/ Password : which are the identifiers that allow access to the network.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>On the TYNESS :<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>The LED light on the 4G module gives information on the status of the communication<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9164 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/TYNESS_LoRaWAN_-_English\/Capture-d\u2019\u00e9cran-2019-08-22-\u00e0-16.11.05.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"672\" height=\"146\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>SIM card insertion:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>In its 4G version, the TYNESS is equipped with a micro SIM card reader (3FF).<br \/>\nThe card should be inserted with the beveled corner at the bottom right.<br \/>\nInsert it to the bottom until you hear a slight &#8220;click&#8221;. This 64-bit address allows the peripherals to be classified by application<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>APP KEY :<\/strong><\/span> This is a secret key shared between the peripheral and the network, which is used to create the session keys.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>DEV EUI :<\/strong><\/span> This is a factory programmed identifier which makes each object unique.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>C onfirmed Message :<\/strong><\/span> parameter allowing to ask the network for a reception of the frames sent by the sensor confirmation. Improves the quality of exchanges.<br \/>\nPlease note: This is an extremely energy and bandwidth consuming function. Not to be used systematically.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Adaptatif (ADR) :<\/strong><\/span> ADR (Adaptive Data Rate) mode activated or not. This mode allows the network to automatically adapt the communication speed and the signal strength of the sensor. If this parameter is not activated, the sensor exchanges in SF12 only.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Periodic rejoin :<\/strong><\/span> When activated, the Tyness will launch a network join procedure every week. If not activated, once a network is joined no further join procedure are made.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Compliance test : <\/strong><\/span>Do not activate. Only to be used for network testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Network connection process<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Our products try to connect to the network when they start.<\/li>\n<li>If it does not work, they will retry every 24 hours until it works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Periodique network reconnection<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Our products restart a network connection procedure every 7 days.<br \/>\nThese reconnections improve security.<br \/>\nIndeed, reconnection to the network renews the encryption keys.<br \/>\nWith the Tyness, this functionality can be activated or deactivated using the &#8220;periodic rejoin&#8221; option of the configuration software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Cloud ApiKey<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>This key is only used with 4G communication to secure exchange with the server.<\/p>\n<p>With EwattchCloud, the user must copy this key during configuration of a Tyness.<\/p>\n<p>EwattchCloud exemple:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8531 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/TYNESS_LoRaWAN_-_English\/Capture-d\u2019\u00e9cran-2019-07-22-\u00e0-15.51.27.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1136\" height=\"275\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">LoRa channel<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>In LoRa\u00ae (LoRa\u00ae-Ewattch) mode, the Tyness has multiple communication channels to choose from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 fast channels. Allowing to send data more frequently but over shorter distances.<\/li>\n<li>5 long range channels.
