Slave or master.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Step 2 Tyness is a slave<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9469 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ewattch-documentation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/modbus-slave-config.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"602\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1 &#8211; Configure the Modbus address off the Tyness in \u00ab <em>Tyness address<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>2 &#8211; Select the bus master in the compatible masters list \u00ab <em>Bus master\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; Define the time between two radio transmissions in \u00ab <em>periodicity <\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>4 &#8211; Once all the values are entered, validate by clicking on \u201cWrite\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Step 3 Tyness is a master<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9471 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ewattch-documentation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/modbus-master-config.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"787\" height=\"602\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1 &#8211; Select the slave(s) to be read from the list of compatible slaves. \u00ab <em>slave type <\/em>\u00bb section<\/p>\n<p>2 &#8211; Configure the Modbus address (es) of the slaves in the \u00ab address \u00bb section<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; Define the time between two radio transmissions in the \u00ab <em>periodicity <\/em>\u00bb section<\/p>\n<p>4 &#8211; Once all the values are entered, validate by clicking on \u201cWrite\u201d<\/p>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Connection status<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The status color gives the state of the connection.<\/p>\n<p>Yellow: connection in progress<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9973 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/ewattch-documentation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/modbus-statut-jaune.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"392\" height=\"30\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Red: the connection could not be established successfully.
