  • It’s fully equipped to measure energy consumption (6 inputs for clip-on current clamps). Thanks to its Easy-Link wiring system and DIN rail mountings, the sensor can be installed very quickly, and integrates perfectly into your infrastructure.

Advantages

  • Benefit from a plug & play solution: easy to integrate and immediately operational.
  • Receive pre-configured, ready-to-use equipment.
  • LoRaWAN wireless communication for reliable, long-range, secure connectivity.
  • Real-time data transmission for optimal monitoring.
  • Configuration and updates via a simple, intuitive application.
  • 4 clamp sizes available from 10mm (75A) to 36mm (600A). No configuration required.
  • Follow-up by our EWATTCH experts.

2.Measures #

The sensor allows up to 6 current measurements. The wiring method is shown below. Technical specifications are described in chapter 8 of this documentation.

Current measurement is performed using 6 opening current clamps connected to the sensor by 2m cables.
These clamps must be opened and clipped around the insulated cables of the phases to be measured.
Warning, the maximum current and voltage of each phase must not exceed the limits specified in the technical specifications.

4.Installation and Implementation #

Pré-requis :

  •  1x TYNESS-ENERGYLINK or TYNESS-ENERGYLINK -4G : intelligent sensor communicating via LoRa or 4G
  • Electrical equipment
  • Slot available for mounting TyNess EnergyLink
  • 50/60Hz 100-240VAC for the 5VDC power supply
  • Access to the power supply of the main equipment or consumer, to connect current clamps

Installation

  • Mount the power supply and Easy-Link terminal block on a DIN rail. Remember to connect the 5V power supply to the Easy-Link card.

  • Attach the Tyness and connect it to the Easy-Link modules using the DIN cables. Depending on the position of the FIX-RAIL, the height of the tongue must be adjusted to ensure accessibility.

  • Connect and secure the antenna. In the case of a metal cabinet, place the antenna on the outside.

  • Connect the current clamps to the Easy-Link terminal block. Then clip the clamps onto the consumer equipment.

5.Configuration and settings #

Product configuration software is available. This allows you to configure and update the product. The procedure below describes how to connect to the product.

Implementation
  • Power the Tyness.
  • Download the Tyness Configurator software. This software is available at the following link: https://www.ewattch.com/documentations-techniques/.
  • Run the program (no installation required, available for PCs with Windows 8 or higher, Apple and Linux). Connect your computer to the Tyness socket, using a MicroUSB cable with an extended 12mm connector.
  • A new communication port appears in the “Serial Port” drop-down menu.
  • Click on the “Connect” button.

Caution: You have a 30-second window in which to connect the software. If you’ve waited too long, disconnect and reconnect the cable to restart the USB connection.
